etaXsiPointType

A point of the chord surface of the component segment, the surface spanned by the chord lines of its elements (see componentSegmentType), given by the relative spanwise coordinate η (eta) and the relative chordwise coordinate ξ (xsi). Both run from 0 to 1.

The referenceUID selects the coordinates: it references either a segment of the wing, and the values are then the coordinates of that segment (wingSegmentType), or a component segment, and the values are then the coordinates of the component segment (componentSegmentType).

In the coordinates of a component segment, η = 0 and η = 1 lie on its inner and its outer section element, ξ = 0 on the leading and ξ = 1 on the trailing edge.
