wingRibExplicitPositioningType

The rib runs from the first to the second point; both are given in one of three ways:

startEtaXsiPoint and endEtaXsiPoint give the point in the relative coordinates of a segment or of the component segment (etaXsiPointType).
startCurvePoint and endCurvePoint put it on a curve, e.g. at a relative position along a spar (curvePointType).
startSparPositionUID and endSparPositionUID put it on a spar position (sparPositionType), so that the rib follows the spar when the spar position is moved.

ribStart and ribEnd bound each rib in chordwise direction: both are either the UID of a spar or the keyword leadingEdge or trailingEdge. A rib therefore runs from the leading edge or from a spar to another spar or to the trailing edge.

If both points lie on the same section element of the wing, the rib is the face of that section, e.g. a root rib in the plane of the root element.
