wingCellType

A cell is the part of its shell inside four borders: one at its leading and one at its trailing edge (cellPositioningChordwiseType) and one at its inner and one at its outer end (cellPositioningSpanwiseType). Its corners are the points where these borders meet, so a cell bounded by two spars and two ribs has its corners where those ribs meet those spars.

The four borders may be given in different ways, e.g. the leading edge by a spar and the inner end by relative coordinates. A cell is usually a quadrilateral; if a spar that bounds it has a kink inside the cell, it has more corners. Where a border is given as a contour coordinate, all four borders have to be.
