cellPositioningSpanwiseType

The border is given in one of three ways:

eta1 and eta2: the relative spanwise position of the border at the leading and at the trailing edge of the cell, so that the border may run at an angle to the lines of constant η;
ribDefinitionUID with ribNumber: the border follows that rib of that rib set;
contourCoordinate: the border follows the skin at that position, from 0 at the root to 1 at the tip.

A contour coordinate runs on the skin itself, not on the chord surface: it is the relative position along the surface, so a border given this way follows the skin. Because the two kinds of border are of a different nature, either all four borders of a cell are given as contour coordinates or none of them is.
