vtpInterfaceDefType

The vertical tailplane is attached to two or more frames (vtpFrameDefType), which are reinforced by plates and beams. <vtpReinfRelZ>, <vtpReinfRelWidth> and <vtpIntersectionArc> give the extent of these reinforcements relative to the frame; how they are measured is not specified yet. <vtpAttachmentStructElemUID> connects the attachment pins to the fuselage.

<vtpAreaToleranceX> and <vtpAreaToleranceZ> are tolerances for checking that the pins of the tailplane fit the fuselage: along x where a pin is attached directly to a frame, and as the largest distance between the fuselage and the pins.
