leadingEdgeShapeType

The leading edge of the control surface is a smooth curve from the lower to the upper surface of the wing. It passes through the nose point above P_LE, at the relative height relHeightLE between the lower (0) and the upper (1) surface, and meets the upper and the lower surface of the wing tangentially at xsiUpperSkin and xsiLowerSkin. These two positions are fractions of the chord of the control surface from P_LE to P_TE, measured from its trailing edge (0) to its leading edge (1). The inner and the outer border are defined independently of each other.

Sections at the inner borders of three control surfaces: (a) a flap whose rounded leading edge passes through the nose point at relHeightLE 0.5 and meets the skin at xsiUpperSkin 0.9 and xsiLowerSkin 0.7 of the flap chord from its trailing edge; (b) a slat whose hollow rear side runs from xsiTEUpper 0.15 over the point at xsiTE 0.04 and relHeightTE 0.45 to xsiTELower 0.12; (c) a spoiler between xsiLE 0.55 and xsiTE 0.69 with the lowest point of its leading edge at relHeightLE 0.8
