controlSurfaceBorderTrailingEdgeType

A border is a section of the wing through two points of the chord surface of the component segment: the leading edge point P_LE at etaLE and xsiLE, and the trailing edge point P_TE at etaTE and ξ = 1, i.e. on the trailing edge of the wing. etaTE defaults to etaLE. The section plane contains both points and the normal of the component segment. The η and ξ coordinates refer to the parent of the control surface.

Without further data, the front of the trailing edge device is a straight cut through P_LE, perpendicular to the chord from P_LE to P_TE. leadingEdgeShape rounds the leading edge (leadingEdgeShapeType), and airfoil replaces the section by an airfoil contour (contourReferenceType). innerShape describes the hollow rear side of a leading edge device and is not intended for trailing edge devices.
