elementMassType

Description of the local mass properties of a predefined system element. It defines the mass value either explicitly by mass or indirectly by density together with a valid geometric volume.

The optional location defines the local center of gravity. If no location is specified, the center of gravity is derived from the geometric centroid of the element volume. The optional massInertia specifies the local inertia tensor components.

If density is used, a valid non-zero-volume geometry must be available in order to evaluate the mass properties.
