Component segments of a wing

The parts of a wing that carry its structure, control surfaces, fuel tanks, attachments and structural mounts (componentSegmentType). Each component segment spans one or more consecutive segments of the wing and provides the relative coordinates η and ξ in which these parts are positioned.

The figure shows two ways to divide the example wing of wingType, which has a root, a kink and a tip element and two segments: (a) one component segment spanning both segments, as in the example, or (b) one component segment for each segment.
