floorPanelType

A floor panel is a sheet of a floor between two longitudinal floor beams, e.g. between two seat rails. Its material and thickness are those of the sheetBasedStructuralElementType named by <sheetElementUID>.

Surface

All values are given in the fuselage coordinate system. The panel is the surface between the paths of the longitudinal floor beams <longFloorBeam1UID> and <longFloorBeam2UID>, from x = <startX> to x = <endX>. Its local y-axis lies in the surface and points from the first beam to the second, and its z-axis is normal to the surface and points up; the <alignment> moves the edges along y and the panel along z (alignmentFloorPanelType).

The figure shows the passenger floor of the example from above: cross beams on five frames, four seat rails and panels between neighbouring rails. The outlined panel lies between the two inner rails from x = 7 m to x = 8.5 m, across the frame over the cargo door, which carries no cross beam.

Rules

Both longitudinal floor beams run through the whole range from <startX> to <endX>.
<startX> is smaller than <endX>.
