The keel beam carries the bending of the fuselage across the cut-out of the wing box and the bay of the main landing gear, along the bottom from the first to the third main frame. It is a box between the stringers <keelWidthStringerUID> on both sides, mirrored at the x-z plane, and up to the height of the stringer <keelHeightStringerUID>; its sheet is <sheetElementUID>.

At its ends, triangular connections lead the loads into the skin. The horizontal connections reach to the frames <hFwdConLengthFrameUID> and <hRearConLengthFrameUID>, at the heights of the stringers <hFwdConHeightStringerUID> and <hRearConHeightStringerUID>; the vertical connections reach to the frames <vFwdConLengthFrameUID> and <vRearConLengthFrameUID>. <startCwbConFrameUID> and <endCwbConFrameUID> bound its connection to the center wing box. The exact shape of the connections is not specified yet.
